BAD BEAT JACKPOT RULES

  • Texas Hold’em games that take the promo dollar are exclusively eligible for the Bad Beat.
  • Bad Beat means a qualifying poker hand that is beaten by a higher ranking hand.
  • The pot must be at least $15 to qualify for the Bad Beat.
  • A Bad Beat dollar will be taken when the pot reaches $15.00 and a second Bad Beat dollar will be taken at $30.00.
  • Full rake must be in effect.
  • A minimum of four players must be dealt in at the start of the hand to qualify.
  • A qualifying hand of Aces full of 10s (Do not have to play an ace in the hand).
  • Both cards in the hand must be used for full houses to qualify.
  • Payouts of the Bad Beat are as follows:
  1. 50% of the Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded to the Bad Beat hand (losing hand).
  2. 25% of the Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded to the winner of the hand.
  3. 25% of the Bad Beat Jackpot will be awarded equally amongst the players on the game who received cards at the beginning of the hand and are present during the deal.
  • The hand must go to a showdown in order to qualify for the Bad Beat and eligible hands must be turned face up on the table.
  • If there are more than two hands that qualify for the jackpot within one hand, then the two highest hands will be considered for the winner and loser shares of the Bad Beat.
  • If two Bad Beats hit at the same time on two or more tables, surveillance will review the see which hand “started” first. If they started at the exact same time all payouts will be divided equally and all tables will be paid.
  • The Bad Beat Jackpot may be void in the event of the following:
    • Too many or too few burn cards.
    • Fouled Dec or too many or two few cards.
    • Cards dealt out of sequence.
    • Cards having left the clear view of the table.
    • Players must play their hands independently. Any discussion of the prize during the playing of the hand may void qualification for the prize. If any player, whether directly or indirectly involved in the hand passes information or instructs another on how to act or reveals his/her hand to other players, the Bad Beat may be disqualified.
    • The appropriate paperwork must be filled out to receive a payout. A valid I.D. is required.

Jackpot Calculations:

  • The starting qualifying Bad Beat hand will be four 4s or better beaten.
  • The Poker Management will update the promotion display board total on a daily basis.
  • The qualifying hand will be reduced for every $2,250 of incrementation to the main Bad Beat jackpot.
  • Example: The Bad Beat starts out at four 4s or better beaten.
  • The Bad Beat qualifying hand will be reduced to four 3’s and so on, until it has been awarded.
  • Aces full of 5’s will be the lowest qualifying hand.
  • Once the bad beat has been won, it will start over at four 4s.

Progression of qualifying hand:

  • Four 4s
  • Four 3s
  • Four 2s
  • Aces full of Ks (Do not have to play an ace in the hand)
  • Aces full of Qs (Do not have to play an ace in the hand)
  • Aces full of Js (Do not have to play an ace in the hand)
  • Aces full of 10s (Do not have to play an ace in the hand)
  • Aces full of 9s (Do not have to play an ace in the hand)
  • Aces full of 8s (Do not have to play an ace in the hand)
  • Aces full of 7s (Do not have to play an ace in the hand)
  • Aces full of 6s (Do not have to play an ace in the hand)
  • Aces full of 5s (Do not have to play an ace in the hand)

The distribution of the Jackpot drop is as follows:

  • 35% to the Main Jackpot
  • 15% to the secondary Jackpot until it reaches $15,000.00 limit
  • 10% to the Tertiary Jackpot until it reaches $5,000 limit
  • 45% to the Promotion fund
